Happy 68th Birthday Yeye!

We call her Yeye but my sons and her other grandchildren calls her "Ma". She's now 68 years old and we are celebrating it today. She's always there for us kahit noong nag-uumpisa palang kaming magsama as husband and wife at a very very young age.
2 more years ay magse-celebrate na siya ng kanyang 70th birthday and it's definitely something to look forward to because we're gonna make it with a bang! Hehehe....
Happy Birthday Yeye!

Gatang Gulay at Hipon

This is our ulam last night.

Century Corned Tuna

Have you tried the new Century Corned Tuna? I really love this new addition to the family of my fave Tuna in can. I just sauted it in onions (lots of it) then I put fried garlic on top (just like in the commercial)... Sarap niya with hot pandesal or fried rice kapag morning ko siya niluluto.

I don't have any intention to taste the San Marino Corned Tuna (not because I don't like M.R. and D.D.) but in some of the forums that Ive read... hindi daw ito masarap...:(

Pasalubong for my boys...

Uuwi ba naman kaming walang dalang pasalubong for our two boys. Siyempre as per their request ay talagang binili namin ni hubby ang kanilang mga bilin.

For Kuya Justine, he wanted a Bacon Mushroom Melt and a Macaroni Side Salad ... hindi ko na picturan :(

For Jeffrey, he requested a chicken from KFC and his favorite Frap.

One for kuya and one for Jeffrey...

Reyes Barbecue

Dito sa SM Food Court kami nagpunta because he wanted to try the Chicken BBQ of the now becoming famous Reyes BBQ.

I ordered this.... Daing na Bangus.... sarap!!!

and this.... hehehe...

Hubby chooses to try the boneless chicken BBQ

Hihihihi.... kitang-kita ba ang extra java rice?

These are the value meals....

Sarap ulitin!!!!

Being a first time customer, I just ordered the small size ( P 80.00) plus 3 toppings (for P40) which were sliced almonds, blueberry and the crushed graham. Wow! I didn't know that it tasted really good! I sooooo love the creaminess and the tartness of the yogurt. I can imagine the feeling of "heaven" as described by my friend Peachy when I started eating my first "real" froyo experience. (I was a BTIC addict before :) sssshhh... )

Hubby ordered the green tea yogurt with just two toppings, the Kiwi and Mango, he likes strawberries too but it was not available at that time.

It was really good!
I googled the health benefits of yogurt and it says the following:
* High in calcium, protein and potassium
* Build strong bones and teeth
* Boost immune system
* Enhance digestion
* Improve lactose intolerance
* Prevent acne and build clear skin ( i think this one's for me, hehehe)
* Promote fresh breath and healthy mouth
* Lower cholesterol and increase metabolism

I want to apply as a crew....hehehe baka libre ang yogurt while on duty! hahaha!!!

Hubby really enjoyed his froyo!

An early x-mas present!

Me and hubby went to SM Megamall yesterday. He needs to register for the upcoming Adidas Marathon which will be held again at The Fort in Taguig. There's an ongoing Adidas Expo yesterday and there were discounts on some of the running shoes. Hubby saw the new Super Nova Glide for Women and immediately asked for my size, the staff told us that there's no available size and asked us to just go down to their store at the ground level to check if they still have a stock. We immediately go there but to our dismay, there's no available size for me. Sayang ang 30% discount.
Anyway, after eating our lunch and dessert at Megamall, hubby and I proceeded to Trinoma hoping that I could get a pair of that cutie running shoes. And yes! The Adidas store in Trinoma still have a size 6 1/2 Super Nova Glide. I know he want me to be his running buddy that's why even if it's not on sale he paid the shoes wholeheartedly (hehehe)...

Will this mean that I'm going to start running and trimmed down before Christmas?

Mini BCT from Dunkin Donuts

parang gawang bahay.....

yun mga palaman ay parang isinalpak lang....
waaahhhh!!! I want my regular size BCT!!!

Zemirah Moriz Christening

It's exactly one week after the Christening of Moriz, my God! super guilty ako at hindi ko nai-share sa inyo itong experience na ito kaagad. She's 2 months old and definitely the youngest of 4 children of Ate Beng and Kuya Eric. We're not able to attend the Mass because we got there at 1:00 p.m already. It was like fiesta because there were so many visitors and siyempre plenty of food, hehehe.

This is Zemirah Moriz...

Her parents ordered Lechon Baka from Lydia's...
this came with a free Lechon Baboy.

No, this is not the free one, 2nd lechon na yan that came around 1:30 p.m.

Jeff, Yeye, Ate Mhila, Tatay Tin, and Justine... hubby didn't make it :(
Walang bantay sa shop eh :(

Jeff's favorite spot at Ate Beng's resthouse.

with other guests...

habang chumi-chika ay eto ang aming napagdiskitahan...

Oooops! My second plate at 3:00 p.m., merienda ko yan, hehehe...
Ayan ang crispy na lechon, grilled liempo, grilled salmon and fruits (no rice, hahaha!)

Akalain nyong magkakapatid ang tatlong kasama ko?
Anne the eldest, Carlo (was not around), Madel and the youngest
Zemirah Moriz.

Selena Antoineth's 1st Birthday

Last Saturday was the first birthday of Selena. She's the daughter of my new friend and new neighbor Joan. Actually it was Jeff who is much closer to them because of their son Cho-cho who became Jeff's friend here in our shop. I was not able to capture pictures of Cho-cho's 7th birthday which was a pool party last month because I forgot to bring my cam. This time I make it appoint to put the camera in my bag before leaving our house.
It was a Jollibee kids party, Jeffrey and I attended a Bratz themed party too last Thursday for it was the birthday of his classmate Shane and so we knew what to expect in this kind of party. I took picture of the cake, a simple cake from Red Ribbon with pictures of the Bratz characters as background.
The party started with a prayer from one of the cousin of the celebrant.

This is Selena Antoineth, she just came out from the hospital 2 hours before the party. It's good that her pediatrician made a go signal that she can go out.

As usual, after the prayer the most awaited part of the event for the kids was the game. Jeffrey was very excited for the games because he already knew most of the game mechanics. He bagged most of the prize in the "Bring Me" portion. hehehe.... There was a 100 bill in my wallet as well as a 1 dollar bill, a lipstick, a 5 pesos bill, etc. (Girlscout ako dati eh....Laging Handa!) hahaha...

A game portion for mommies was one of the most exciting part. Just see the smiles in the guests faces. This mom said that she looked better than Anne Curtis and she won the game... What do you think?

Jeffrey with friend Cho-cho

It's eating time...

The party wouldn't be complete without the appearance of the Mascots.
Here comes Jollibee and Hetty...

My wish for Selena is for her to have an excellent health always,
God fearing, caring and a loving individual.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Just want to share ang merienda namin the other day.

Icebreaker Scrambles New Look!

My favorite Scrambles from Icebreaker has a new look! Super cool ang design ng kanilang cups... It's nice to know na mas lalong nagiging successful ang business ng young and good looking couple na owners nito. Thanks to hubby at binili niya ito for me! Alam kasi niyang favorite ko to.

The new look!
