Peachy-Peachy!

Photobucket
Small P 100.00

Sobrang soft at smooth ang kanilang peachy at you can choose your toppings if you want cheese or coconut on top.

Photobucket
I prefer the cheese topping (mas mahal ito at mas masarap kaysa sa niyog) nyahahaha!

Photobucket
Kitam... hindi ko na mapigilang bawasan!!!

MOA's Pink Band

Sarap nito!

Kay Justine

And for our little giant na si Jeff ay nagpabili naman siya ng Frosty! ang mahal na pala ng Frosty ngayon...ang tagal ko na kasing hindi nakakatikim nito simula nung nag-close ang branch ng Wendy's sa MCU. Pero good thing is that hindi naman nag-iba yung taste ng kanilang famous Frosty!

Photobucket
Tingnan mo naman, ganadong-ganado!

Ang sarap sarap!!!

Anak bakit parang hinihigop mo yan? Heheheh

We had a great day last Thursday.... Family bonding time!

Savory at Mall of Asia

Fish Fillet in Cream with Mushroom (masarap siya!)

Photobucket
Salt & Pepper Spareribs (Okay lang)

1/2 Chicken, hindi namin mauubos ang whole! (diet kami.... hehehe)

All these cost only P 745.00, mura kasi hindi kami umorder ng softdrinks dahil iwas muna kami sa sodas these days....

I had so much Fun in PBN!

It all started last Saturday when I received a text message from ABSCBN that says "You are given a chance to play as studio contestant of PBN, for screening pls. come on Monday-1 pm at the audience entrance" I was a bit excited and worried at the same time if my hubby will allow me to attend the screening which I know will take so much of my time. But he allowed me to go and there came Monday morning and I was a bit nervous because it's my first time to join such contest on TV.

The screening itself was a bit tedious because you have to fall in line with lots of contestants to be. I don't have my digicam with me on my first and second day so I was not able to take pics on what was happening during the screening. Grabe as in grabe! When I entered the studio i heard someone shouting "Bingo, Bingo, Bingo!!!" yun pala it's part of the screening, you have to speak in front of the people of at least 300 or more holding a microphone and tell the organizers what is your reasons in joining the contest and what will you do to the money if you win and then after you have to shout BINGO for 3 times. If you're not energetic and has a soft voice they will turn you down and say thank you for joining.

Eh since sayang naman ang aking ipinila for 2 hours ay nilakasan na ng lola nyo ang aking boses at ayun, pasok ang lola sa game. Hahahaha!!!. I joined this contest because first, i want to experience this kind of game and have fun; 2nd, i want to see Kris Aquino in person and the guest artist who will play with the Bingoers 3rd, Bonus na lang kung mananalo. When I was listening to the reasons of some other hopeful contestants, I pity them for they really need to win. There was a lady there who was wearing a cap, all of us were asked by the staff to remove our hats or caps before entering the studio, this lady did not follow, yun pala she has a bone cancer and undergoing a chemo kaya kalbo siya, mabait naman sila and they allowed her na to use it.

Game proper, ang ganda ng mismong studio, you can see that talagang pinagkagastusan. We were all stunned when we saw Kris wearing her signature Filipiniana dress. Ang ganda niya at super puti! pero the audience went wild ng lumabas na ang guest artist for that day, it happened to be KC Concepcion... she is really a stunner and a very sweet young lady. (Sorry guys, no pictures) The game was won by two deserving contestants, Loreta won P 25,000, she's 45 years old, a civil engineer by profession and has an 85 years old husband (ang layo ng age gap!) The 50,000 pesos was won by Mang Alberto who I think was a pastor and part the money will be used for feeding sessions in their church. I had so much fun on my first day even if i did not win, happy naman kasi hindi boring ang maglaro sa Pinoy Bingo Night!

On our second day, same pa din kaming contestants... yung iba ay hindi na bumalik maybe because nasasayangan sila sa gastos, kung hindi naman sila mananalo. Nakakatuwa because our guest that day was Bea Alonzo, she's also beautiful like KC, they have their own beauty, mas skinny nga lang si Bea ngayon. Same experience, i had a good time even if i did not win for i've won new friends naman. In our 2nd day, Victor won P 50,000 and he did not play na for the jackpot round for he needed the money for the operation of his mother-in-law who has a myoma.

These are the pics that i took during the 2nd day....

A Poem for My Mother...

I actually finished this poem for only 10 minutes. Maybe because i'm so inspired while writing this for I know that this will be my gift for my mom this Mother's Day. It just flows smoothly in my mind and in my heart. And since i'm good in expressing my feelings in my native language, I wrote this in Filipino...

Here it is....

Araw Mo Ito, Ina…

Malayo man tayo sa isa’t-isa

I love you very much Mom!!!!
Happy Mother's Day!!!

21 Memos From A Child

While waiting for his Pedia, I noticed a poster hanged on the side door of the clinic. I asked Ate Lorna, the medical secretary if she has a copy of that, because the message really touched my heart. So I copied the entire content of the poster's message and sometimes Jeff would dictate some of the lines. I believe the the message has a strong message for all of us parents and so i wanted to share it with you.

And here it is.....

21 Memos from a Child

1. Don't spoil me. I know quite well that I ought not have all that I ask for. I'm only testing you.
2. Don't be afraid to be firm with me, I prefer it. It makes me feel more secure.
3. Don't make me form bad habits. I have to rely on you to detect them in the early stages.
4. Don't make me feel smaller than I am. It only makes me behave stupidly "big".
5. Don't correct me in front of people if you can help it. I'll take much more notice if you talk quietly with me in private.
6. Don't make me feel that my mistakes are sins. It upsets my sense of values.
7. Don't protect me from consequences. I need to learn the painful way, sometimes.
8. Don't be too upset when I say "I hate you..". It isn't you I hate, but your power to thwart me.
9. Don't take too much notice of my small ailments. Sometimes they get me the attention I need.
10. Don't nag. If you do, I have to protect myself by appearing deaf.
11. Don't forget that I cannot explain myself as well as I should like. That is why I am not always very accurate.
12. Don't make rash promises. Remember that I feel badly let down when promises are broken.
13. Don't tax my honesty too much. I am easily frightened into telling lies.
14. Don't be inconsistent. That easily confuses me and makes me lose faith in you.
15. Don't tell me that my fears are silly. They are terribly real and you can do much to reassure me if you try to understand.
16. Don't put me off when I ask questions. If you do, you will find that I will stop asking and seek my information elsewhere.
17. Don't ever suggest that you are perfect or infallible. It gives me too great a shock when I discover that you are neither.
18. Don't ever think that it is beneath your dignity to apologize to me. An honest apology makes me feel suprisingly warm toward you.
19. Don't forget how quickly I am growing up. It must be very difficult to keep pace with me, but please try.
20. Don't forget, I love experimenting. I couldn't get on without it so please put up with it.
21. Don't forget, I can't thrive without lots of understanding love. But I don't need to tell you, do I?

Hindi ba maganda ang message niya? I don't know who wrote this... pero pinagtiyagaan ko siyang kopyahin para mai-share ko sa inyo!!!

Frequent Daytime Urination

Yes, that's exactly the problem of my youngest son Jeffrey. We just came from his pedia because I was worried about his frequent urination. For 3 days, he keeps on going to the CR for about 4-5 times in an hour. So I went to MCU this morning and had his urine check in their lab.

The doctor didn't see anything wrong with the results of his urinalysis. He said that it is just a "Pollakiuria" that has something to do with stress or fear. There's no medication and it will eventually go back to normal.

So I googled it and found this article about his condition...

Frequent Daytime Urination- Pollakiuria

A 4 year old boy is brought in to your office by his mother who is very distressed because her son is urinating very frequently. According to his mother, he urinates every 5-10 minutes. How would you evaluate this patient?

Pollakiuria is defined as frequent daytime urination that may occur as often as every 5 minutes, although usually the child urinates 3-4 times/hour. This is a common pediatric complaint and the parents are usually concerned that their child has diabetes mellitus or a UTI. The majority of children are between 4-6 years of age. Pollakiuria is more common than urinary tract infections in children. Symptoms may last for years, but the average length is 7-12 months.

Frequent characteristics:

*There is no dysuria and the volumes of urine are small (no polyuria)
*There is no incontinence, dribbling, and the urinary stream is normal
*Although there may be nocturia, it is not to the extent of the daytime frequency.
*There are no changes in bowel habits
*There may be "stress" factors identified

Now I have a peace of mind, for I know that his condition is also happening to any other boys and girls in his age and that there's no need for him to take any medications. But I keep on wondering what kind of "stress" triggered his frequent urination? I need to observe my bunso... hindi kaya dahil sa SF or LEFT 4 DEAD ? HAHAHA!!!!

Grilled Bangus

It's been 3 weeks since i last tasted the grilled bangus stuffed with onions, tomato and salted eggs in Baliuag and I'm already missing the taste of that grilled boneless bangus. So yesterday when I went to the market, i look for "Ate Precy" and asked her to give me the biggest boneless bangus that she has. I was very happy because she was able to give me one that is big and fresh.

Here's what we did after cleaning the fish... Oh well, let the pictures do the talking...hehehe

Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!

Oh well, i admit I'm a pizza addict! My family loves to eat pizza, pero ang tatlo sa favorite naming pizza parlor ay ang Shakey's, Domino's and Carlo's Pizza. I like the Shakey's Manager's Choice with their famous thin crust, the Cappriccioso of Carlo's Pizza and the Supreme Pizza of Domino's. They have different taste characteristics but all of them satisfies our taste buds.

Domino's Pizza
Domino's Pizza
A thick crust pizza that is fully loaded with toppings! 2 slices is enough for me kapag ito ang kinakain ko... bigat sa tiyan eh! hehehe

Domino's Pizza- After
Binagyo ang Domino's! hehehe...

My second slice
Oh I so love their crisp and thin Cappriccioso! See the mozzarella?

Manager's Choice for me ay well balanced ang kanyang flavor and toppings at sobrang sarap lalo kapag thin crust.

Ikaw anong favorite pizza mo? Share naman!!!
